CAFÉ 10AM: Fabrice du Welz, director of Adoration, film selected as part of our international competition.

There are eight Cafés meetings during the four days of the Forum. Held in the Chaufferie, they will bring together Forum participants and professionals from the international film industry. These Cafés meetings are intended to facilitate exchanges in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Please take note that some meetings will be in French.
This activity is only on registration. Please read the guests profiles, helping you choose which one interest you most.

Each Café meeting as a limited capacity of 10 persons. The inscriptions will stay open as long as there’s space left. We’ll send you an email after your registration to confirm your participation.

Fabrice Du Welz

In 1999, the short film Quand on est amoureux, c'est merveilleux, Grand Prix at the Festival de Gérardmer, heralded a filmmaker with a unique universe. He is currently preparing his next film Inexorable, produced by Jean-Yves Roubin of Frakas and Manuel Chiche of The Jokers, which will start shooting in October 2019.

Daisuke Miyazaki

After working under internationally known directors such as Kiyoshi Kurosawa and Leos Carax, Daisuke made his first feature film “End of the Night” in 2011. His 2nd film “Yamato (California)” was raved by HOLLYWOOD REPORTER and VARIETY. His recent film ”TOURISM” which was focused on i-D MAGAZINE and is in the theaters now in Japan.

Tomona Hirota

Born in Tokyo, 1987. Tomona debut in “Princess Raccoon” by Seijun SUZUKI in 2005. Her recent film is “YEAH” by Yohei SUZUKI which premiered at Rotterdam international film festival in 2018.

Takeru Ogawa

Takeru was born in 1983. He has been starring in films of authors such as Kiyoshi Kurosawa and Ryusuke Hamaguchi.
