The first two adventures of Wallace, the inventor, and Gromit, his dog, the hilarious stop-motion animated characters. In 1989, British film studio Aardman unveiled the work of a young artist, Nick Park, whose endearing animated clay characters would go on to earn a place in popular culture as synonyms for inventiveness and comedic brilliance. In the short films A Grand Day Out and The Wrong Trousers (1993), wacky inventor Wallace and his unflappable dog Gromit go on a pair of wild adventures, taking them to the moon in search of cheese and getting ensnared in a scheming tenant’s nefarious plot.
