A special Gondry screening as Home Movie Factory sets up in Montreal.
From September 1 to October 15, Michel Gondry’s Home Movie
Factory will give aspiring Montreal filmmakers three hours to make a
film, with 15 sets to choose from. The FNC has joined forces with HMF
organizer Chromatic for this special screening featuring Détour, the
French director’s latest short filmed entirely on an iPhone7, followed by
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

The mind-bending romantic dramedy whose imaginative script, delirious whimsy and powerful feeling have made it a classic. The passage of time hasn’t made any dent in the charms of Michel Gondry’s best film, from its unlikely pairing of Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey (!) to its host of colourful characters, extravagant visuals and futuristic take on romance and heartache. A daring love story that transgresses the limits of time, mind and memory.

Presented by Chromatic, as part of the Usine de films amateurs by Michel Gondry
