Since 2004, the Wapikoni methodology, “Learning by Creating”, has been nurtured by a solid reflection that keeps proving itself thanks to constant evolution. Mobile studios, fully equipped with cutting-edge filmmaking technology travel to First Nations communities: to date, 30 communities from 9 different nations have been visited and more than 3,500 youths have been trained or initiated to documentary filmmaking or musical recording.
