memento mori

Dan Browne | 2012 | O.V. English | Canada | 29min | color

Synopsis :

memento mori is a layered time-lapse exploration of the total photographs captured over the course of a lifetime -- over 100,000 in total. These images are blended with each other in permutations and combinations ranging in subjects, objects, percepts, dreams, and experiences, to form an encyclopedic index of the possibilities of sight.

Expérimentations 2 ( 12 films )

Of all stripes... Featuring (successful) formal exercises and evocations (of all stripes), an impassioned anthology of films that constantly push the language of cinema and the limits of our perception based on material ranging from nature, film stock, the world and nightmares to Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat.
