Synopsis :
In response to Gould’s audacious proposition to think of radio as music, the FNC presents The Hallicrafters, a shortwave radio and arcana duet featuring multi-instrumentalis and artists Eric Hubel (Glenn Branca Ensemble, Wharton Tiers Ensemble) and Algis Kizys (Swans, Foetus, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, of Cabbages and Kings). These sonic guerillas incorporate live radio transmission and diverse forms of electromagnetic impulse and atmospheric static. Simply put, they manipulate the ionosphere live as an instrument.
