Young First Nations filmmakers present their latest works at a special screening, which will be followed by an open discussion with directors featured in Wapikoni’s 2012 tour. The music of Musique nomade is also on the program and will play throughout the event. By showing their short films, first to their own communities and then to people of all backgrounds, Wapikoni’s young filmmakers become ambassadors of a rich contemporary culture that deserves wider exposure.
