Synopsis :

Zoltan: the Hungarian Gangster of Love, is a Felliniesque adventure that centers on the Don Juan of a remote Hungarian Village, during his daily quest to satisfy his lust for women. Fueled by music from Hungarian psychedelic band ILLES, 'Zoltan' offers a dip into the surreal, with timeless black and white cinematic style that enhances its cast of offbeat characters as they swim in their world of absurdity. Shot on 16mm using mostly hand made camera rigs, 'Zoltan' has a raw authenticity that brings a believability to an unbelievable world. While 'Zoltan' appears to be an authentic Hungarian film, the movie was written and directed by American film maker Justin Reardon, who married into a Hungarian family and was inspired by his many experiences there.
